Reference Name 2-TDE/K/1

Large vellum roll with a pedigree of the Kings, showing descent from Noah. Coloured, on vellum.
With a chronicle of events.

Lists:-
English kings - British, Anglo-Saxon, Norman to Henry VI.
Saxon (pre-migration to Britain).
Dukes of Normandy.
Welsh kings.
Archbishops of Canterbury.

Ending at Henry VI, but showing Edward Prince of Wales, b. 1453, so probably written between 1453 and 1461. (The last Archbishop shown is Chichele, d. 1443).

After the pedigree are 9 verses of poetry about the heroes Hector, Julius Caesar, Alexander, Joshua, Judas Maccabaeus, David, Arthur, Charlemagne and Godrey de Bouillon. In English.
