Description:Roll of honour-approximately 10,000 names-enrolled in books, which will be deposited in oak cases designed by Sir Charles Nicholson. 'Two books, comprising the completed portion of the roll of honour, have been placed in the oak cases. Each name is engrossed with the rank and decorations, They are bound in red levant morocco. On the upper cover of the book is the regimental badge in gold and silver, surrounded by a laurel leaf intertwined with a gold riband, on which are battle scenes between 1685 ? 1913. On the title of the 1st Battalion there is an interesting reference to the native members of the Bermuda Rifle Corps, who volunteered to fight early in the war, and linked up with the 1st Battalion.' Notes on Condition: Associated with two memorial windows in the Soldiers chapel which were unveiled in the same ceremony in April 1924.
