Description:
PRN 41033
Medieval kiln material and pottery (possibly extending into the 15th -16th centuries) was found when excavations were undertaken for septic tank in 1959, on high ground to the north of the church. Finds include pancheons, butter pots, jugs, cooking pots and green glaze sherds with applied clay strip work. (This may be part of the same site as PRN 41044.) {1}{2}{3}{4}
