Description:A brass plaque, mounted on the chancel arch facing south. The plaque features a border inset with an engraved laurel leaf design and floral bosses to the corners. The inscription is also engraved and coloured black. Dimensions: 306mm x 508mm x 2mm.

Inscription:IN LOVING MEMORY OF SAPPER ERNEST LEGGOTT. R.E. BELOVED HUSBAND OF AMY LEGGOTT DIED OF WOUNDS RECEIVED IN ACTION APRIL 19TH 1918. IN HIS 31ST YEAR BURIED IN THE BRITISH CEMETERY VEIRSTRATT, KLEIN BELGIUM. YOUNGEST SON OF S.E. & E.A. LEGGOTT.
