Description:A brass plaque, mounted on the chancel arch facing south. The plaque features an engraved single-line border and a coloured floral boss at the top-centre. The inscription is also engraved, and the lettering coloured black. Dimensions: 305mm x 510mm x 2mm.

Inscription:TO THE GREATER GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF HENRY A. STANLEY CARPENTER 2ND LIEUT. OF THE 14TH ROYAL SCOTS KILLED AT THE BATTLE OF THE SOMME SEPTEMBER 2ND, 1916. AGED 22 YEARS. BURIED AT PEAKE WOOD CEMETERY, CONTALMAISON, FRANCE. "FOR KING AND COUNTRY."
