Description:Memorial Tablet 20cm by 33cm with the regimental crest of the Lincolnshire Yeomanry above inscription, all in black enamelled black lettering with some leading initials in red.

Inscription:"In loving memory of William Twisleton Haxby eldest son of Twisleton Haxby, killed on active service November 3rd 1915, age 25, nobly doing his duty

Notes:To provide and place a memorial tablet on the north wall of the nave of the parish church of East Ravendale with East Ravendale immediately opposite the third pew from the east end of the said church and also to provide and place a memorial Credence table on the south side of the sanctuary of the said parish church in memory of Lance Corporal William Twisleton Haxby son of our petitioner Twisleton Haxby and Alice Haxby who was killed onboard the transport Ship S.S. Mercian on the third November one thousand nine hundred and fifteen. That the said tablet is to be of brass about one foot three inches by about nine inches with the following inscription namely: In loving memory of William Twisleton Haxby eldest son of Twisleton Haxby, killed on active service November 3rd 1915, age 25, nobly doing his duty Faculty Book 13, page 119, dated 20th December 1916.
