Inscription:In Honoured Memory of/ the Men of this Parish who gave/ their lives in the World War/ 1939-1945/ DONALD ARTHUR DAUBNEY Lincolnshire Regt./ PETER FELGATE Royal Navy/ FRANK NICHOLSON Lincolnshire Regt./ WILLIAM OSBORNE R.A.O.C./ FREDERICK JOHN SANDALL Royal Navy/ Rest eternal erant unto them O Lord/ and let light perpetual shine upon them.

Notes:UKNIWM Ref: 20539 Provide and place on the Western internal wall of the tower facing the Nave of a tablet of Hopton Wood stone about three feet by about two feet two inches in size with the following inscription thereon, namely: - Seal affixed 2nd February 1953 Faculty Book, #19
