Inscription:WILLIAM EVELYN DENISON OF OSSINGTON AND KELSTERN BORN 25TH FEBRUARY 1843 DIED 24TH SEPTEMBER 1916 ALSO HIS ONLY SON WILLIAM FRANK EVELYN DENISON LIEUT. 16TH SHERWOOD LANCERS BORN 22ND DECEMBER 1878 DIED AT AMIENS IN FRANCE 26TH MARCH 1918 OF WOUNDS INCURRED IN ACTION 24TH MARCH. 'Right dear in the sight of The Lord is the death of His Saints'
