Inscription:TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF/ CHARLES LANE. VERGER OF THIS CHURCH FOR 36 YEARS/ AND OF HIS WIFE MARGARET, ALSO OF THEIR SON/ CHRISTOPHER, KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE 1917/ THIS HOLY TABLE IS GIVEN BY THE SURVIVING SON AND DAUGHTER
