Materials Used:Oak, stone and slate

Description:The memorial is in the form of a Lytch gate comprising of well-seasoned oak, local stone flank walls and Welsh slate roof. It is surmounted by a simple oak cross and a slate tablet which is mounted in the centre of the wooden framework. It stands twelve feet six incges high and nine feet wide. There is a smaller plaque below which is dedicated to WWII victims.

Inscription:IN HONOURED MEMORY OF HAROLD BLANCHARD ARTHUR HORTON SAMUEL ROBINSON FRED VESSEY CHARLES VESSEY IKE ROOK HARRY INGLEBY GEORGE ROWSON OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919 GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS 1939 - 1945 CHARLES SMITH CHARLES RANYARD LIONEL SYZLING
