Description:In the South aisle two wall strips support a series of 550 Squadron related plaques, certificates and photographs including the badge of 550 Squadron and a plaque presented by Wing Commander J.J.Bennett DFC and Bar, founder and first commander of 550 (Bomber) Squadron. The badge measures 610mm by 550mm, unveiled 29th March 1981 and dedicated by the Bishop of Grimsby, the Rt. Rev. David Tustin, believed to be made at the Lincoln College of Art

Inscription:Presented to the people of North Killingholme by Wing Commander J.J.Bennett DFC and Bar, founder and first commander 550 (Bomber) Squadron A token of esteem and reciprocation For the kindness and co-operation shown by Your people to the Squadron January 1944 - October 1945
