Inscription:TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD/ AND/ IN MEMORY OF/ JOSEPH HOBSON/ HUBERT HOURNE/ ARTHUR HOURNE/ DAVID NELSON/ THEY DIED THAT WE MIGHT LIVE

Notes:Was unveiled and dedicated in 1920. The church of St John's was closed in 1922 and eventually demolished.
