Description:Wall mounted square polished brass plaque on slightly larger dark wooden backboard. Plaque contains depiction of open scroll inscribed with black lettering. The plaque is erected on the south wall of the nave and has dimensions 510 x 510 x 30mm.

Inscription:TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ This tablet is erected/i n/ grateful remembrance/of/ Driver Thomas Dennis./(Army Service Corps)./ Who gave his live for King and Country/ in the Great War./ He died at Barsa, where he was serving/ with the Persian Gulf Expeditionary Force,/ on June 11th 1916. Went the day well? He died and never knew,/ but well or fit ENGLAND HE DIED FOR YOU

Notes: Thomas Dennis Driver T4/084359. Army Service Corps, attached 39th Field Ambulance. Died Mesopotamia 11th June 1916. Son of Thomas and Sarah Dennis. Born circa 1888 Wilsthorpe, Lincs, enlisted Harringay, Nth London and resident Stamford, Lincs. Commemorated Arama War cemetery. XIV.D.28.
