Description:Single kerbed bed style grave with large headstone with semi-circular top and engraved cross and celtic style flower decorations. Inscription in memory of Pte J H Melton. Smaller footstone with two pilasters and large engraved flower motif. Inscription for Fred Melton. (Burial)

Inscription:IN LOVING MEMORY OF PTE. J. H. MELTON 1ST LINCS REGT. THE BELOVED SON OF E. & F. MELTON KILLED IN ACTION (IN BELGIUM) JUNE 15TH 1915 AGED 21 YEARS THOUGH HE A GLORIOUS SOLDIERS DEATH COULD BOAST WHILST SHOUTS OF VICTORY WERE IN HIS EAR HIS HIGHER WARFARE IN A NOBLER HOST SHALL GAIN IN BETTER WORLDS REWARDS MORE DEAR / ALSO OF FRED WHO DIED AUG. 2ND 1928 AGED 31 YEARS 'FATHER, IN THY GRACIOUS KEEPING LEAVE WE NOW, THY SERVANTS'
