Inscription:In Loving Memory of ELIZABETH THE VERY DEARLY LOVED WIFE OF WILLIAM BANNISTER OF TUMBY WHO FELL ASLEEP PEACEFULLY JAN 30TH 1916, AGED 64 YEARS ?UNTIL THE THE DAY BREAK AND THE SHADOWS FLEE AWAY.? ALSO OF PTE. CHARLES HUBERT BANISTER YOUNGER SON OF THE ABOVE WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION SEP 1ST 1918, AGED 30 YEARS. AND WAS INTERRED AT UPTON WOOD CEMETERY, ARRAS, FRANCE ?FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH.? R. I. P.
