A view of Bayons Manor in the Wolds. Once the seat of Lord Tennyson's grandfather, it was rebuilt in the 1830s as a pastiche medieval castle, and was demolished in the 1960s. Deer graze in the foreground and a drawbridge spans the castle moat beyond.
