Biographical Notes:Robert was born in East Dereham in 1898. He came to Lincoln to train as an engineers apprentice. He was living at 10 South Park, Lincoln. He enlisted as soon as he was 18 on 2nd January 1917 and embarked for France after basic training on 20th March 1917. He was killed in action on 9th October 1917.
