3rd and 4th century Roman coins, found on land off Tennyson Gardens, Horncastle.

Location:
HORNCASTLE, EAST LINDSEY, LINCOLNSHIRE

Description:
Fifteen Roman coins of the 3rd to 4th centuries were found in the 1960s, on land to the south of Tennyson Gardens. The collection may represent the remains of a hoard, and included coins of Claudius II, Diocletian, House of Constantine and Valens. Roman pottery was also found. {1}
