The Multon or Great Chantry, at Old Leake is mentioned in 1391, and was dissolved in 1547 [PRN 12790]. The house, which was moated, was much altered and repaired about 1800 [PRN 12791]. {1}{2}
Slight non surveyable depressions at TF39714391 and TF39774932 are the only identifiable remains of the moat. {1}
