Reference Name LCNUG : 1927/381

A view of the partially exhumed West Gate of Lincoln Castle during the excavation in 1836. Figures are visible above the gateway, and a group of workmen stand in the left foreground. The remains were later reburied and unearthed in the 1990s.

Tuke, Lincoln 1836.
