Thousands of Moving Parts

Lincolnshire’s proud industrial heritage is cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. They meet once a week to conserve and preserve objects as varied as ploughshares to generators and keep them working for future generations to enjoy. Many of them come from the industries that produced these world famous products and bring with them a lifetime of knowledge and skills. Like anyone would, they each have their favourite and the following film tells the story of each object and what it means to Lincolnshire and to them.
